C & A SECTION INFORMATION

As stated in our bylaws, the purpose of the Culture and Agriculture section is  " (a) to develop the study and understanding of agrarian systems from a holistic, social science perspective, and (b) to link academics and practitioners concerned with agrarian issues, agricultural development, and agricultural systems through dissemination of scientific research, encouragement of effective instruction, and to encourage application of knowledge to public policy."

As part of this effort, this section of our section website will attempt to facilitate communication among members and between members and others.  In addition to the section on our journal, Culture and Agriculture, you can find the following:

1. A description of why you should stay in the section, join the section, rejoin the section, and get others to join the section. This is not just a request for money or names; it is a statement about what we ought to be using the section for.    If others want to add other statements and suggestions, they would be most welcome.   Click here.
